Airbus asks Kuwait Airways to ground A300 fleet
Airbus has advised Kuwait Airways ( IATA : KU ) to suspend all Airbus A300 operations and run inspections of the aircraft, after KU “submitted notes” to the manufacturer, reports Reuters .
Further details are not known at this stage, although no other airline has reportedly been instructed to ground their A300 fleets.
From the outlook of it, it seems as if KU noted a malfunction with their A300(s) and this has caused Airbus to request KU to ground the fleet.
KU currently operates five Airbus A300-605R aircraft, with CF6 engines , all of which have been built between 1993 and 1994.Similar Posts:
