AeroUnion A300 crashes and impacts highway in Monterrey
An AeroUnion A300B4-200 freighter performing flight 6R302 from Mexico City to Monterrey, crashed while approaching the airport and impacted a highway.



The aircraft, registration XA-TUE, nicknamed Margo, was approaching runway 29 in a heavy tailwind.
Part of the debris including an engine and a wing slided onto the airport at the time of accident at around 2330L ( 0430 Z 14th Apr ).
Mexican authorities confirmed five fatalities and conflicting reports stated all five persons being on aircraft while sone stated two on aircraft and three on the ground.
The flight had originated in Mexico City and was due to fly to Los Angeles via Monterrey.
The aircraft, XA-TUE, msn 078, was an 1979 built example. This is the first major accident of AeroUnion, which started operations in 2002 .

UPDATE:
Fatalities reportedly are 6, including five onboard and one person on the ground.
The crew on duty included an experienced father and son pair ( Capt. Adolfo Müller P. and Capt. Manfred Müller ).
