Alitalia/Air One A330 makes emergency landing following engine fire
An Air One Airbus A330-200, EI-DIP, operating as AZ615 from Boston, BOS to Rome, FCO was forced to return to Boston after a fire developed on no.2 engine.
The aircraft made an emergency landing and safely stopped.
The aircraft, MSN339, first flew on 15/05/2000 and was delivered to its first owner Canada 3000 Airlines on 26/05/2000. The aircraft is fitted with GE CF6 engines.
