AF447 Locator Signals Picked Up *UPDATED

French naval vessels have picked up a weak signal from AF447′s locator beacons a few minutes ago, Le Monde reported.

A mini-submarine has been dispatched to try and find the flight data recorders.

UPDATE: As of 6/25, it was revealed that the signals were not from the recorders and the forces also reported that this was not the first time they heard such sounds. However, the bodies of the captain and a flight steward was recognized among around 50 bodies which has been recovered so far. It is still beleived that an explosion cannot be ruled out.
