A small grocer would know how his workers have done their part during the day when he puts his shutters down end of the day. Thus making the only reason why he will open his shop the next day or why he is going to fire one of his workers.
We in service industry in a large scale has the same role to play, however unfortunately most South Asian companies top management either through ignorance or lenience fail to do both. Ultimately they all end up carrying the burden, in a true third world style..

Well, I believe it's still too early to comment on the financial situation as the merger is not yet fully complete - and it usually takes some time for the synergies to come into action. But perhaps at some point in future, may be!

Well, nobody knows for sure. But it seems that they were unaware of the Angle of Attack, or for some reason kept believing that pitch-up inputs will bring back the aircraft in control. However, as I said earlier, nobody really knows for sure.

Any ideas as to why the pilots, who were aware of the plane's rapid descent, were unable to pitch the nose down in order to come out of the stall? Were they possibly disoriented with regards to the plane's pitch attitude? Or was the loss of control so complete that it was simply impossible to do anything to bring the nose down?

Some airlines have cheap flight promos with nothing but the actual flight covered by the ticket price then sell ridiculously overpriced food on board. The key to building a loyal customer base is by providing affordable flights AND affordable add-ons.
