European Air Travel update – Current airport closures and more details

Current situation of the European Airport closures due to volcanic ash clouds erupting from Eyjaffjoll volcano in Iceland.

UK airspace closure was extended till 1800UTC.
Apparently the ash cloud which was expected to come back over Northern England at around 1000 returned earlier.
This forced Manchester Airport to cancel its planned open window between 0400-1000.
Ireland airspace is currently closed too.

RyanAir has announced that it will be suspending all flights to/from some airports till Monday CET, which includes Milan Bergamo.
Air France has planned a number of 777-300ER operated long haul flights to Tolouse and Nice. However the viable operation of these flights are still uncertain due to the prevailing weather conditions.

Rest of the closed airspace, which includes a majority of European countries, still remains closed.

Reportedly the craters of the volcano have gotten a bit larger.
