Free Advanced Twitter Mobile Mirror for professionals from AIR

Due to the recent DDoS attack on many social network sites, including Twitter – which was the worst affected, Twitter is still recovering and not accessible to all users.
Twitter is still suffering from this attack and is hence blocking requests from the computers that send too many requests. Mobile users might be the worst affected since mobile Twitter sites such as Dabr are currently blocked by Twitter because of this reason.
True, m.twitter.com, the official mobile version of Twitter is accessible to most, but it simply lacks all the functionality of Twitter.
But, thankfully, David Carrington had made Dabr an Open Source project.
Hence, now Airline Industry Review, has built a temporary Dabr version, which is accessible at http://www.airlineindustryreview.com/dabr . The site is fully free to use.
It supports functionality such as

  • Direct messaging
    Viewing your followers
    Following/unfollowing
    Viewing profiles
    @replying
    Mobilized links for outgoing links in Tweets
  • I had planned this project to be launched at a later date catering as a free advanced Twitter mobile version solely for airline professionals, but I believe this is the time it is needed the most.
    I am aware that the URL is too long, so you can access it on the short URL http://tr.im/airtweet.
    Keep in mind that this is a temporary solution and if all of you use it all the time, Twitter might want to block it misunderstanding it as yet another DDoS attack, but it is still good as a temporary measure.
    You can enter this website from your PDA, BlackBerry or any regular GPRS enabled mobile phone. It is usually very secure. But however Airline Industry Review shall not be liable for any damage or loss occured to you from this.
