Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson appointed as Astraeus Marketing Director
London Gatwick based charter airline Astraeus has appointed Iron Maiden member Bruce Dickinson as its Marketing Director with immediate effect.
Bruce, 52, is the vocalist of the band, considered as one of the most successful heavy metal bands of all time.
One of the little known facts is that, Bruce is also a licensed Boeing 757 pilot who has worked for Astraeus part time.
Bruce is also an actor and author. Astraeus operates a fleet of 11 aircraft consisting of one A320, 5 737s and 5 757s.
Astraeus also painted one of its 757-200s, G-OJIB, in a special Iron Maiden livery in 2008, which was featured in a worldwide documentary by the band. In the photo attached, the aircraft flies as Flight 666 with Bruce as a pilot. This particular aircraft now flies for easyJet in easyJet colours.
