SIA grounds three Airbus A380s for pre-cautionary engine changes

Based on further analysis of inspection findings as the investigation into last week’s incident involving Qantas’ Airbus A380 is progressing, Singapore Airlines will be carrying out precautionary engine changes on three A380s – the airline confirmed to this website.
Current SIA A380 flight positions, with last operated flight and date is presented below.
It is believed that oil leaks in Trent 900 engines of these aircraft have been found.

9V-SKA – SQ321/10 LHR-SIN
9V-SKB – SQ346/10 SIN-ZRH
9V-SKC – SQ227/09 SIN-MEL
9V-SKD – SQ333/09 CDG-SIN
9V-SKE – SQ317/09 LHR-SIN
9V-SKF – SQ238/09 MEL-SIN
9V-SKG – SQ322/10 SIN-LHR
9V-SKH – SQ345/09 ZRH-SIN
9V-SKI – SQ212/09 SYD-SIN
9V-SKJ – SQ317/08 LHR-SIN

The affected aircraft are 9V-SKA, SKC and SKJ.
