SkyEurope Ceases All Operations

SkyEurope, the troubled Central and Eastern European carrier finally ceased its operations today. The carrier, in a notice published on its website, advised its customers who have booked flights to find another carrier at their own expense and also stated that a refund will likely not be possible. Earlier it had been forced to stop its operations at Vienna airport after being unable to pay usage fees. The carrier has declared bankruptcy.
