Spirit introduces Carry-On-Bag fee and PennyPlus fares
Spirit Airlines has launched the world’s first carry-on bag fee.
The charge is $20 for $9 club members, $30 for online or phone check-in and $45 for gate check in.
This fee is effective for reservations made after 05APR10 for travel on/after 01AUG10.
PennyPlus pricing structure sees base fare on most routes starting at 1c excluding taxes and surcharges.
