SriLankan Adds Sixth A340
SriLankan Airlines has added the sixth Airbus A340-300 to its fleet. This takes the airline’s A340 fleet to the highest level it has ever been, and is the first A340 the airline has added in seven years.

The aircraft 4R-ADG, MSN381, was ferried HKG-CMB today. It will mainly operate to London apart from weekly rotations to Tokyo and Doha.

4R-ADG’s seating configuration is not clear, however is expected to feature full-flat-beds in Business Class. The aircraft had been stored in the Victorville desert since early 2010.
With the recent introduction of the sixth A320 to fleet, this takes the total fleet of SriLankan to an all time high of 19.
