SriLankan to launch Shanghai flights

SriLankan Airlines is planning to launch flights to Shanghai, its second Chinese destination after Beijing.
The schedule is still being finalised and services are set to be launched in mid-Summer.
SriLankan first launched services to Beijing in 2005, which it now serves four-times weekly. It has been serving Hong Kong since around its inception.
SriLankan will be adding an A321 to its fleet in Summer, the first of the type for the carrier. It already operates four A320 aircraft. SriLankan also plans to add an A340 later in the year.
