The Difference Between Consultants

I know of many consultants in this industry who do it solely as a way to earn money. They may show up as one man operations, but hire entire PR departments to build up their image. They may not know the difference between two aircraft types, but they often get quoted on leading media ( mainstream media’s aviation coverage! – that’s a topic for some other day) as aviation experts. And at the end of the day, the sole goal has been earning money – not to help your airline. What they enjoy is the money.

I am different. Aviation is my passion, and tweaking airlines to improve their profitability is what I love to do! And I take responsibility for my actions. I build my websites myself – I need not get them built by someone else and then state myself as a web developer. I write my eBooks myself too. And I rarely get published in mainstream media, but when I do, that is not for a skill that I faked. Yet, I’m truly a one man operation. I always put the airline first. What I enjoy is helping shape an airline.

I think that’s what happens when an aviation enthusiast becomes a consultant.
